At Hersill, we are very proud to have been able to alleviate the suffering of many patients, especially during the first wave of Covid-19. In those weeks when the lack of Spanish manufacturers became apparent, we supplied Spain with 52,000 oxygen flow meters, 16,500 vacuum regulators, 3,400 electric vacuum cleaners, 2,400 pressure regulators for oxygen cylinders and 5,100 Vitae 40 ventilators. It was a huge challenge for us. In this painting, which is hanging at the entrance of our company, we wanted to pay tribute to all those who helped during those difficult days. The nurse or doctor has just received a Vitae 40 and shows us joyfully because with her help she may get her patient to survive. An optimistic memory that drives us to continue working to take care of people's health.

On the occasion of the 50th anniversary, we developed an animation to show the Vitae-40 . In it we can see the unique features of this device. It was a very special action for us because of what this product meant in the fight against COVID-19, highlighting many years of work on innovation and dedication to health technology.
Break
by Rana Tarhangil
The sculpture Break is a tangible testimony to the essence of human breathing and Hersill's technological innovation in the service of health. The sculpture is divided into two distinctive sides: one represents the lungs and the human heart, symbols of life, while the other side emulates a lush forest, symbolizing the breathing of the planet. This duality invites us to reflect on the profound connection between human health and the health of the world we inhabit. The foundation of the work, solid and well-defined, is engraved on Hersill's three fundamental values: responsibility, enthusiasm and excellence.
These values are the backbone of the company and are integrated into every aspect of Respiro. They are the pillars that have driven Hersill for half a century and are eloquently reflected in this sculpture. Breath, in its meaning as resting to catch your breath, is an artistic expression of Hersill's vision, a reminder of her commitment to improving health and protecting the environment. This work captures the essence of the company and inspires us to continue moving towards a future where the human breath and the planet are in harmony, driven by technology and responsibility.
La melodía de la Vida” is the title of the song composed for Hersill on the occasion of its 50th anniversary by Katia Marquez. Katia is a music therapist and collaborates with Músicos por la salud . In this beautiful song you will hear real breathing and heartbeats of some Hersill workers.
Lyrics and music: Katia Marquez
The musical composition ‘The Melody of Life’ is one of the initiatives we have carried out to celebrate our 50th anniversary and pay tribute to our employees, the true engine of the company.
To convey this idea, we wanted to create a musical theme from the sounds of breathing and heartbeats of Hersill workers. To this end, we were fortunate to have the collaboration of Musicians for Health, an NGO that uses music to provide moments of respite and relief to patients and residents of hospitals and social health centers.
We asked one of her collaborators, music therapist Katia Márquez, to write and perform the song, whose lyrics reflect Hersill's effort to improve people's lives thanks to technology and years of dedication.
The song was performed with guitar by this artist during the celebration of Hersill's 50th anniversary, which took place on October 10th at Casa América-Palacio de Linares.
On October 10th, we held an event at the Palace of Linares where we gathered personalities from the health sector to celebrate our half-century of history.
