Hersill will be present in the trade area (STAND 114) in Seville between 23 and 25 October at the 41st National Hospital Engineering Seminar Congress, organized by The Spanish Association of Hospital Engineering (AEIH).
The AEIH is a non-profit entity whose common objective is “the dissemination of technical and scientific knowledge among the community of health engineering and architecture professionals, responsible for providing the best health services to society.” The Spanish Association of Hospital Engineering began its activity in 1987 and is financed exclusively by the dues of its Affiliates, the proceeds of its publications and the organization of events such as an annual congress and several technical days, the main resources of the Association for the Dissemination of Knowledge among all professionals in the sector.
For Hersill it is fundamental to be present at this congress since this event has been consolidated, in the words of the president of the organizing committee, José Manuel Giraldo Estefani, as an event of high solidity in all facets, scientific and social for participants and for commercial firms, it offers a unique opportunity to be in contact with most of the professionals with responsibility in hospitals in Spain.
In addition, Giraldo points out, the dizzying technological development that we are experiencing, in all areas of our lives, also enables the becoming of “Health.” This implies, given the ephemeral sustainability of a technology in constant change, a new paradigm, of this immediacy future, to which we are witnessing. As engineers, Giraldo writes, we must exercise a responsibility in it, “it should make us consider criteria of sustainability and balance of this technological application, in those decisions that are within our competence, so as not to compromise the future.”
