HERSILL | NEWS | EVENTS
From 14 to 16 May 2025, HERSILL will be exhibiting at RETTMOBIL International, the leading international trade fair for rescue and mobility held annually in Fulda, Germany. This event brings together more than 480 exhibitors from 26 countries and around 22,000 visitors from over 50 countries, establishing itself as an essential reference for professionals in the sector.
HERSILL will be present at STAND Hall 2 STAND 201 (Kartsana Medical GmbH), where advanced solutions in emergency and ambulance equipment will be presented. Highlights include the VITAE 40 Transport and Emergency Lung Ventilator, a compact device that offers advanced ventilation in critical situations, and the REVIVATOR manual resuscitators, designed to offer precision and comfort in ventilation, with 360º rotation for easy use from any position.
RETTMOBIL 2025
RETTMOBIL is organised around three main pillars that guarantee its relevance in the industry: the exhibition of technological innovations, comprehensive training through interactive workshops and specialised conferences, and mobility, with live tests of rescue vehicles, rescue technologies and specific equipment for critical operations. In addition, this year’s specialised programme stands out for its practical and multidisciplinary approach, with activities aimed at perfecting rescue techniques in realistic scenarios. Under the direction of the LUCAS RESCUE LEAGUE in cooperation with the Fulda Fire Department, simulations will be developed including operations with electric vehicles and the management of complex accidents under pressure.
Comprehensive and Practical Training
The RETTMOBIL 2025 training programme is structured into seven key areas covering resuscitation, major emergency response, neonatal care, advanced airway management, haemorrhage control and other key topics. Interactive exercises with models provide hands-on learning essential for dealing effectively with critical situations.
The “Meet the Experts” format will focus on two main axes: the reform of rescue services and new challenges and solutions in acute emergency medicine. Experts from hospitals, administrations and rescue services will exchange ideas and discuss innovative approaches for the continuous improvement of emergency services.
Specialised Workshops and Practical Exercises
Practical workshops will cover diverse areas such as emergency ultrasound, CPR feedback, advanced airway management, haemorrhage control and neonatal care. One of the most anticipated exercises will be a rescue simulation following a major accident involving a farm vehicle and a car with multiple trapped victims. This exercise, coordinated by the Malteser Emergency Service Hessen and the Fulda Fire Brigade, will be conducted with a high degree of realism in order to perfect medical-technical rescue techniques.
A Forum for Interdisciplinary Collaboration
RETTMOBIL is presented as a knowledge and technology exchange space for professionals from multiple disciplines. Fire brigades, private emergency medical services, air rescue, water rescue, mountain rescue, search dog operations and other specialties come together to explore challenges related to patient transport, specialised rescues and psychosocial support in emergency situations. According to Georg Khevenhüller, President of Malteser Emergency Service and sponsor of RETTMOBIL International 2025, this exhibition remains an essential reference for addressing recent changes in the rescue and civil protection industry.
