The World Emergency Medicine Day, which is celebrated every 27 May, was promoted by the European Society for Emergency Medicine (Eusem) to raise awareness among the population and political bodies about the importance of this specialty.
This 2023 World Day campaign is dedicated to security:
– for patients, who need care, attention and relief from pain and disease.
– for professionals, who need to be able to work in a safe environment, for the appropriate number of hours.
