Hersill, recognized by CEPYME as a Leading Company in Business Growth
The Confederation of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises, CEPYME, has included Hersill as one of the 500 leading companies in business growth in Spain. On December 14, HERSILL received this recognition from Antonio Garamendi, president of the CEOE (Spanish Confederation of Business Organizations), and Gerardo Cuerva, president of CEPYME, at the event celebrating the sixth edition of CEPYME500.
Charity Market for a Milla 91 Foundation Project in Sierra Leone. HERSILL, Solidarity Company
On December 9, we organized a charity market with our employees at Hersill’s offices. All proceeds will go to a Mile 91 Foundation project in Sierra Leone. The Milla 91 Foundation is made up of a group of volunteers who have been working in solidarity with the country since 2012. Its commitment is to transform the living conditions of a very disadvantaged people, who turn every aid aimed at improving their health, education and well-being into hope for the future.
ALWAYS COLLABORATING WITH THE FOOD BANK
On November 30, we officially inaugurated a street at the headquarters of the Food Bank of Madrid, at the headquarters of the San Fernando School. The streets are equivalent to “a shelf for storing food that the bank collects and distributes to charities that serve people in need. The Food Bank of Madrid prevented the destruction of a total of 13.37 million kilos of food in 2021, recovering it from waste, reducing equivalent greenhouse gas emissions and promoting the environment.
WORLD CHRONIC OBSTRUCTIVE PULMONARY DISEASE DAY (COPD)
Last November 16, was the World Day of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), a disease that affects 12% of the population over 40 years of age in Spain. As part of its commitment to all respiratory diseases, HERSILL wanted to join this day to continue raising awareness about it.
